Getting There

Located on the south coast of England, Rye can be easily visited as a day trip from London. Trains run to Rye from London St. Pancras station hourly and typically require one change at Ashford International. The whole journey only takes about 75 minutes making it a quick trip.

Getting Around

The town of Rye is quite small and can be easily explored on foot. Consider taking a long walk out to the beach and visiting Camber Sands. The walk is 3 miles and takes about an hour from the town. Depending on how your day goes, there is a bus which you can catch to take back to the town of Rye or split a cab if visiting with a few others. Alternatively, get your steps in and make the walk back to town once you wrap up your time at the beach.
