Logistics
Getting There
Nashville is connected both domestically and even internationally to some key destinations. The airport is only about 20 – 30 minutes outside of the downtown area, making it easy to fly into Nashville’s airport and then get out and about to explore and enjoy your time in Nashville. The Nashville airport is decently sized providing options for flights depending on where you’re traveling from. And of course, for those visiting from neighboring states, reaching Nashville by car might be an option too.
Getting Around
Although not a massive US city, it is large enough that you will need to have a car or plan to use ride sharing apps to get around if you hope to check out different areas. Fortunately, ride sharing is affordable and most drives are pretty quick.
When in concentrated areas, you can walk around, just is more efficient when traveling between neighborhoods to go by car.
Accommodations
When deciding where to stay, a few notes to consider on location. The downtown area is convenient for visiting and going out on Broadway street, while staying around 12 South gives a more cute neighborhood feel. Generally, staying in the Midotwn area provides a convenient point for hopping around to different areas of the city.

Other Notes
Duration
A weekend trip to Nashville is the perfect amount of time. It gives you time to explore some different neighborhoods, restaurants, and check out the live music scene in the birthplace of country music
Time of year
It’s really a city you can visit year round. The winter months are more mild than other places further north in the US, although if it does get cold enough to snow, the city just about shuts down. As a city escape, it’s one possible to do any time of the year
Bachelorette Central
Without a doubt, this city draws in bachelorette parties all the time. Whether you’re visiting for one or not, you are pretty much guaranteed to run into one while you’re out and about in the city.
